This unique canvas originated from the images of souks, captured in the mind after travelling to the Middle East. The elegant coffee pot, coffee cup and sticky bun are made from embellished, padded fabric – giving the artwork a more 3D feel than usual. This canvas was stretched and dyed before wool tops were applied to create the background.  The coffee set was then placed in position, richly bedecked with beads, threads and buttons. The price reflects the length of time it took to create this piece which would look particularly effective in a coffee shop or dining room.
